WHO WILL YOU #SHAREASMILEWITH?

To celebrate Employee Appreciation Day on 4th March 2022, we have launched the #ShareASmileWith campaign here at Hays.
The premise is simple; a colourful ‘smile’ and a message of thanks, encouraging colleagues to show appreciation and share stories of gratitude and success.
Why #ShareASmile?
We have always been passionate about finding solutions to the complex issues faced by our clients, challenging our teams to tackle uncertainty with innovation and respond positively to change.
But the last few years have pushed our teams in different ways.
Imposed isolation, home-schooling and remote working have led to the physical separation of tightly knit teams. Kitchen tables replaced office desks, the morning commute all but vanished and online platforms enabled learning, networking and collaboration in lieu of the office.
The shift to virtual was necessary, but difficult, with growing fears of a post-pandemic burnout across the workforce. There is a heightened need to thank those who have worked relentlessly to ensure the continued delivery of our services, supporting clients and one another as we navigate the challenges and opportunities presented by the new world of work. Indeed, 64% of employees state that employee recognition and appreciation is more important while working from home.
The launch of the #ShareASmileWith campaign acknowledges the continued dedication of our teams, offering a public platform in which to express gratitude to those who have kept us smiling and enabled organisations to thrive, in spite of the uncertainty that surrounds us.
Spreading positivity one picture at a time
The campaign has gathered momentum over the last few weeks, with submissions from across the globe.
